NIEDZIELA, Dwunasta Niedziela zwykła EWANGELIA - Mk 4, 35-41 (Jezus ucisza burzę) Owego dnia, gdy zapadł wieczór, Jezus rzekł do swoich uczniów: «Przeprawmy się na drugą stronę». Zostawili więc tłum, a Jego zabrali, tak jak był MEDYTACJA Często napotykamy przeciwności, życiowe burze, które przyprawiają nas o lęk i obawy. Jednak zamiast wzrastać w ufności Jezusowi, uczniowie potęgują lęk poprzez i wołają: 'Nauczycielu, nic Cię to nie obchodzi, że giniemy?'... Czasami wydaje się nam, że Bóg jest nieobecny, że śpi, gdy Go potrzebujemy. Bóg chce nam dać samodzielność, abyśmy Mu ufali, jakby wszystko zależało tylko od Niego, jednak dokładali wszelkich starań, jakby wszystko zależało od nas. Bóg daje nam czas odczucia Jego mocy, ale daje też czas ćwiczenia wiary Nawet nasze niewierności i porażki stają się okazją do odkrycia Bożej mocy. W chwili kryzysowej uczniowie zwracają się do Jezusa, który natychmiast ucisza burzę. Niezdrowy lęk zamienia się w szacunek i cześć dla Jezusa, które mają uczniów umocnić na przyszłe burze i próby... Uczniowie dostarczyli pozornej 'nieobecności' Chrystusa w sytuacji zagrożenia. Każdy mądry wychowawca będzie szedł tą drogą. Nie załatwi wszystkiego do końca za swoich wychowanków. Czasami zatrzyma krok, ruch, decyzję, by wyzwolić ich inicjatywę, a ostatecznie ich dojrzałość... Niewiara człowieka zadziwia nawet Chrystusa. Uczniowie byli przecież obeznani z jeziorem, z falami, z przeciwnościami losu. Przeżyli także wiele przy Jezusie. Widzieli cuda, słyszeli Jego nauczanie, a jednak jest w nich przerażenie, pretensja do Jezusa i dramatyczne pytanie: ‘kim On jest?’... Uczniowie nie ‘zdają’ egzaminu tej ‘nocy przypowieści’, ale to doświadczenie przyniesie owoc. Usunie z ich przestraszonych serc trudności i niewiarę. Wzmocni ich i przygotuje na przeżycie męki i śmierci Chrystusa... Lęk przed umieraniem i śmiercią to podstawowy niepokój człowieka. Użyjemy wszystkiego, by zachować życie. Nawet Bóg jest wzywany, aby wybawił nas od śmierci. Mamy jednak inne niż Bóg wyobrażenie tego, na czym polega życie i uchronienie od śmierci... Może nam wydawać się, że jest z nami bardzo źle, że jesteśmy w największej depresji, w dole życia, że zmagamy się z różnorodnymi sztormami, toniemy Nie wszystko idzie po naszej myśli. Nawet nie wszystko idzie, naszym zdaniem, po myśli Boga. Kryzysy, burze, niepewność, wojny, ludzka słabość - to wszystko sprawia, że pojawiają się wątpliwości. Może nie pytanie: 'gdzie jest Bóg?', ale raczej: 'czy w tym wszystkim jest Bóg?'... Zawsze jest Słowo nadziei, bez względu na nasze odczucia, bo gdy 'my nie jesteśmy wierni, On wiary dochowuje na wieki; bo nie może zaprzeć się siebie', bo Jego miłość jest nieodwołalna... Spokojnie, bez paniki, nawet gdy na to nie zasługujemy, nawet gdy z uporem chcemy zniszczyć wszystko, co dobre, On jest w łodzi i do Niego należy ostatnie słowo... Jezus, wszedłszy do łodzi, nakazał uczniom oddalić się od brzegu i przepłynąć na drugą stronę jeziora. Natychmiast rozpętała się nad jeziorem wichura, grożąc zatopieniem łódki, która nabierała wody. Można przypuszczać, że demony rozpętały burzę, aby uniemożliwić Nauczycielowi i Jego uczniom przybicie do brzegu... Burza szalała, a Jezus spał. Jego Serce jednak czuwało. Przerażeni apostołowie podejmowali wszelkie wysiłki, by utrzymać łódkę w równowadze. Byli fachowcami w sztuce żeglarskiej, lecz widząc, że nie dadzą rady, poszli obudzić Chrystusa: 'Mistrzu, jesteśmy zgubieni'. On wstał, zganił wiatr i fale. Natychmiast nastała wielka cisza. 'Gdzie jest wasza wiara?'... Wiara uczniów w czasie burzy zniknęła, duchy wzburzenia wstrząsały ich duszami. Choć, z drugiej strony, uważać, że da się wykonać dobre dzieło bez burz przeciwności i udręk, marząc wyłącznie o sukcesie i aplauzie, jest nie tylko ułudą, ale i jasnym znakiem, że dobre dzieło, jakiego się podjęliśmy, jest obliczone na mizerny skutek. Jest to perspektywa, którą wciąż musimy zgłębiać, by nie gorszyć się burzami... Pewne przeciwności, jak się zdaje, zabijają dobre inicjatywy, lecz w rzeczywistości przenoszą je z powierzchni w głąb i zmuszają nas do tego, by nie liczyć na własną przedsiębiorczość, ale na moc Boga. On pozwala na burze po to, aby nas oczyścić... Czasem czyjaś osobista świętość musi być przechowywana w kopcu lub pod słomą. Bóg do tego dopuszcza nie po to, by ją zdusić, lecz by ją uchronić... Nie jesteśmy w stanie ocenić, dokąd mogłaby nas doprowadzić nasza zepsuta natura, toteż pewne upokorzenia i przeciwności są konieczne, choć przeżywamy je jak katastrofę. Bóg je dopuszcza, by uformować wokół nas coś w rodzaju powłoki uniżenia, która służy za ochronę charyzmatu, jakim nas obdarzył... Ubolewanie nad niepowodzeniami znaczy, że nie zdajemy sobie sprawy z tego, dokąd może doprowadzić nas nasza nędza. Nie wierzymy w zwycięską interwencję Boga. On wyprowadza zwycięstwo z zepsucia i nieczystości, a w sprzyjającym momencie sprawi, że rozkwitnie to, co wydawało się już martwe... Tym, którzy zamartwiają się z powodu przeciwieństw i nie potrafią docenić ożywiającej wartości cierpienia, można by powiedzieć to, co Jezus powiedział Apostołom: 'Gdzie jest wasza wiara?'. Pośród burz należy ufać Bogu i modlitwą obudzić śpiącego Jezusa... Zły wywołuje dzisiaj w Kościele różne burze, bo chce go zatopić. Jezus to dopuszcza właśnie po to, by uczynić Kościół piękniejszym i aktywniejszym. Wydaje się, że śpi, lecz Jego Serce czuwa nad swoją Oblubienicą. Jezu wstań. Wstąp na tron Twojej miłości i skarć wszelką ludzką podłość i niegodziwość. Zarządź spokój, nakazując Twym uczniom, aby Cię pokochali. Amen... ...Jezu, proszę o uwolnienie od niepokojów i głęboką ciszę serca... Proszę o łaskę wiary bardziej słowu Boga niż moim lękom... So they left the crowd and took him away as he was in the boat. Other boats also sailed with Him. MEDITATION We often encounter adversities and life storms that cause us fear and anxiety. However, instead of growing in trust in Jesus, the disciples increase their fear by shouting: 'Teacher, don't you care that we are perishing?'... Sometimes it seems to us that God is absent, that He sleeps when we need Him. God wants to give us independence, so that we can trust Him as if everything depended only on Him, but make every effort as if everything depended on us. God gives us time to feel His power, but he also gives us time to exercise faith and hope... Even our infidelities and failures become an opportunity to discover God's power. In a moment of crisis, the disciples turn to Jesus, who immediately calms the storm. Unhealthy fear turns into respect and honor for Jesus, which are to strengthen the disciples for future storms and trials... The disciples provided the apparent 'absence' of Christ in times of danger. Every wise educator will follow this path. He won't take care of everything for his students. Sometimes it will stop a step, a movement, a decision to unleash their initiative and, ultimately, their maturity... Man's unbelief astonishes even Christ. After all, the students were familiar with the lake, with the waves, with adversities. They also experienced a lot with Jesus. They saw miracles, heard His teaching, and yet there is terror in them, resentment towards Jesus and a dramatic question: 'Who is He?'... The disciples do not 'pass' the test on this 'night of the parable,' but the experience will bear fruit. He will remove difficulties and unbelief from their fearful hearts. It will strengthen them and prepare them to experience the suffering and death of Christ... The fear of dying and death is a basic human anxiety. We will use everything to preserve life. Even God is called upon to save us from death. However, we have a different idea than God's of what life and protection from death are... It may seem to us that things are very bad for us, that we are in the deepest depression, at the lowest point of life, that we are struggling with various storms, drowning and basically unable to cope with anything. But there is He, the best Father. There is no storm that Jesus cannot calm. Let us shout Not everything is going our way. Even not everything is going according to God's plan, in our opinion. Crises, storms, uncertainty, wars, human weakness - all this causes doubts. Maybe not the question: 'where is God?', but rather: 'is there God in all this?'... There is always a Word of hope, regardless of our feelings, because when we are unfaithful, He keeps faith forever; because He cannot deny Himself, because His love is irrevocable... Calm down, don't panic, even when we don't deserve it, even when we stubbornly want to destroy everything that is good, He is in the boat and He has the last word... Jesus got into the boat and ordered his disciples to leave the shore and swim to the other side of the lake. Immediately, a gale broke out over the lake, threatening to sink the boat that was taking on water. It can be assumed that the demons unleashed a storm to prevent the Teacher and His disciples from reaching the shore... The storm was raging and Jesus was sleeping. However, His Heart was watching. The terrified apostles made every effort to keep the boat balanced. They were experts in the art of sailing, but seeing that they could not cope, they went to wake up Christ: 'Master, we are lost.' He arose and rebuked the wind and the waves. There was immediately a great silence. 'Where is your faith?'... The faith of the disciples disappeared during the storm, the spirits of turmoil shook their souls. Although, on the other hand, to think that it is possible to do a good work without storms of adversities and tribulations, dreaming only of success and applause, is not only an illusion, but also a clear sign that the good work we have undertaken is destined for poor results. This is a perspective that we must continue to explore so as not to be scandalized by storms... Certain adversities seem to kill good initiatives, but in fact they move them from the surface to the depths and force us not to count on our own entrepreneurship, but on the power of God. He allows storms to purify us... Sometimes one's personal sacredness must be kept in a mound or under straw. God allows this not to suppress it, but to protect it... We are unable to judge where our corrupt nature could lead us, so some humiliations and adversities are necessary, even though we experience them To lament our failures means that we do not realize where our misery may lead us. We do not believe in God's victorious intervention. He brings victory out of corruption and impurity, and in a favorable moment he will make what seemed already dead to bloom... To those who worry about contradictions and fail to appreciate the life-giving value of suffering, we could say what Jesus said to the Apostles: 'Where is your faith?' In the midst of storms, you must trust God and wake up the sleeping Jesus with prayer... The evil one is causing various storms in the Church today because he wants to drown it. Jesus allows this precisely to make the Church more beautiful ...Jesus, I am asking for freedom from anxiety and deep silence of my heart... I am asking for the grace to believe God's word rather than my fears... Thank you for guiding me through the nights and storms of faith...
