CZWARTEK, Dzień powszedni EWANGELIA - Łk 9, 7-9 (Herod chce zobaczyć Jezusa) Tetrarcha Herod usłyszał o wszystkich cudach zdziałanych przez Jezusa i był zaniepokojony. Niektórzy bowiem mówili, że Jan powstał z martwych; inni, że Eliasz się zjawił; jeszcze inni, że któryś z dawnych proroków zmartwychwstał. MEDYTACJA "Tetrarcha Herod posłyszał o wszystkich cudach zdziałanych przez Chrystusa i był zaniepokojony" (Łk 9, 7)... Cuda dokonywane przez Jezusa nie mieszczą się we władzy Heroda. Nie budzą jednak jego ciekawości, lecz niepokój... Herod stara się zobaczyć Jezusa nie z powodu bezinteresownej ciekawości, lecz by zaspokoić swoją potrzebę kontroli. Często za pragnieniem spotkania Jezusa stoi potrzeba uzasadnienia lub umocnienia własnych przekonań... Jezus zaprasza na spotkanie poza obszarami, które ogarniamy i kontrolujemy. Spójrzmy na to, co pozostaje poza naszą kontrolą w świecie, w innych i w nas. Paradoksalnie właśnie dlatego, że nie ogarniamy i nie kontrolujemy, możemy Go tam spotkać... Herod jest postacią tragiczną, a jednocześnie całe życie Jezusa związane jest jakoś z jego ciekawością, nieuporządkowaniem, grzesznością i powikłanymi relacjami. Od narodzenia Jezusa w Betlejem, przybyciem Mędrców, ucieczką Świętej Rodziny do Egiptu, przez śmierć Jana Chrzciciela i ukrzyżowanie Jezusa... Herod widział, słyszał, dopytywał się, ale ostatecznie uległ manipulacjom i słabościom. Nie potrafił przyjąć dobrej nowiny, nawrócić się, nie dostrzegł tajemnicy, więc wyeliminował posłańców, zabił Prawdę i Dobroć... Opowieść o Herodzie, słyszącym różne opinie i domysły, jest jakby przerywnikiem między posłaniem a powrotem uczniów z misji. Uświadamia nam jednak dobitnie, że nie jest przypadkiem. Nic w życiu nie dzieje się bez celu, nawet jeśli od razu nie pojmujemy ich sensu i logiki... Herod chciał zobaczyć Jezusa, bo słyszał o tym, co On mówi, i nie tylko dlatego. Przekonujące dla niego było to, że słowa Jezusa były potwierdzane przez różnego rodzaju znaki uzdrowienia, rozmnożenia chleba, wyrzucanie złych duchów, przemiany ludzi, przemianę wody w wino. Jak wielu ówczesnych zadawał sobie pytanie o tożsamość Jezusa, o to, Kim On jest... Nam, chrześcijanom, trzeba żyć tak, aby nasze życie budziło pytania. Tak przemieniać się przez Ewangelię, aby ludzie wątpiący i poszukujący chcieli zobaczyć Mamy to wpisane w naturę. Radosny pragnie więcej radości. Szczęśliwy chce być jeszcze bardziej szczęśliwy. Kochający kochać więcej. Jedynie ze smutkiem Nienasycenie wpisane jest także w naszą relację z Bogiem. Wdzięczności, podziwu, adoracji, uwielbienia nigdy za dużo. Zawsze za krótko i za mało… Za krótko, za mało, nie jest winą, słabością, grzechem. Jest oznaką nienasycenia. Niebezpieczny jest moment, gdy uznajemy, że wystarczy… Herod, słysząc u cudach Jezusa, jest zaniepokojony. Każdy uczciwy człowiek powinien cieszyć się, ale Herod uczciwy nie był. Wiedział, że do wielu innych nieprawości, które popełnił, dodał zabójstwo proroka. Dla niego zmartwychwstały Jan, jak myślał o Jezusie, albo inny Boży wysłannik, stanowił zagrożenie... Wieści o cudach jednych cieszą, w innych budzą obawy, które wynikają ze strachu przed karą za popełnione nieprawości. Oni wiedzą, że jeśli chcą uniknąć kary, powinni się nawrócić. Ale w bagnie nieprawości jest im dobrze... Za sceptycyzmem wobec czegoś, co potwierdza wiarę w Chrystusa, stoi często obawa... ...Jezu, proszę o czyste sumienie, wolne od niepokoju i zgryzoty... Proszę o łaskę czujności i nasłuchiwania sercem Twojego słowa, które wzywa mnie do nawrócenia... Often, the desire to meet Jesus is based on the need to justify or strengthen one's own convictions... Jesus invites us to a meeting outside the areas that we encompass and control. Let us look at what remains beyond our control in the world, in others Herod is a tragic figure, and at the same time, Jesus' entire life is somehow connected with his curiosity, disorder, sinfulness and complicated relationships. From the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, the arrival of the Magi, the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt, through the death of John the Baptist and the crucifixion of Jesus... Herod saw, heard, inquired, but ultimately succumbed to manipulation and weakness. He was unable to accept the good news, to convert, he did not see The story of Herod, hearing various opinions and speculations, is like an interlude between the sending and the return of the disciples from the mission. However, it clearly makes us realize that it is not a coincidence. Nothing in life happens without a purpose, even if we do not immediately understand their meaning and logic... Herod wanted to see Jesus because he heard what He was saying, and not only for that reason. What was convincing to him was that Jesus' words were confirmed by various kinds of signs of healing, multiplying bread, casting out demons, transforming people, changing water into wine. Like many people of his time, he asked himself about the identity of Jesus, about Who He is... We, Christians, must live in such a way that our lives raise questions. To be transformed by the Gospel in such a way that people who doubt and are searching want to see and know God, who has done such things in our lives. So that they see that we are able to love, bring peace and unity, serve, help It is written in our nature. A joyful person wants more joy. A happy person wants to be even happier. A loving person loves more. Only sadness and suffering are different. There is always too much of these... Insatiability is also written in our relationship with God. Gratitude, admiration, adoration, admiration are never too much. Always too short and too little... Too short, too little, is not a fault, weakness, sin. It is a sign of insatiability. The dangerous moment is when we consider that enough is enough... Herod, hearing about Jesus' miracles, is concerned. Every honest person should rejoice, but Herod was not honest.
