ŚRODA, Dzień powszedni EWANGELIA - Łk 14, 25-33 (Kto nie wyrzeka się wszystkiego, nie może być uczniem Jezusa) Wielkie tłumy szły z Jezusem. On zwrócił się i rzekł do nich: «Jeśli kto przychodzi do Mnie, a nie ma w nienawiści swego ojca i matki, żony i dzieci, braci MEDYTACJA Jezus zaznacza, że wymaga wolności, aby podążanie za Nim było owocne i prowadziło do królestwa niebieskiego. Wolności od siebie i tego, czego się chce, od ludzi i tego, co nam dają oraz od rzeczy i żądz. Bez tej radykalnej wolności od świata stworzonego podążanie za Jezusem jest nijakie... Istotny warunek owocnego podążania za Jezusem to również odważne stanięcie przed bólem, cierpieniem, a nawet śmiercią. Jezus mówi, że podążanie za Nim wymaga jednoznacznego opowiedzenia się za Bogiem, nawet 'niesienia krzyża'. Po to On przeszedł drogę krzyżową i umarł, byśmy mogli się na Nim oprzeć, niosąc nasze krzyże... Jezus porównuje decyzję stania się Jego uczniem z decyzją o wzniesieniu wieży. Jest ona symbolem władzy i wiedzy oraz zwycięstwa w walce o suwerenność "Bo któż z was, chcąc zbudować wieżę, nie usiądzie wpierw i nie oblicza wydatków, czy ma na wykończenie?" (Łk 14, 28). Jezus mówi dziś o planowaniu. Jest ono jednym z kluczowych elementów każdej inicjatywy. Odwołując się do planowania budowy, Jezus uczy planowania duchowego... Jezus mówił wcześniej do tych, którzy mu towarzyszyli, uczniów i tłumu, o tym, że na ucztę niebieską zaproszeni są ubodzy i wykluczeni. Teraz mówi do słuchaczy o tym, że choć Królestwo Boże jest darmowe, to są bardzo trudne warunki jego przyjęcia... Trudne warunki przyjęcia Królestwa Bożego, to: 'nienawiść' do tego, co jest nam drogie, jak bliscy; miłość do tego, czego świat nienawidzi; rozwaga, aby nie zatrzymać się w pół drogi; roztropne 'szaleństwo' tego, kto wyrzeka się wszystkiego dla Jezusa. Wszystkich na to stać, ale myli się ten, kto spodziewa się, że osiągnie Królestwo swoją przemyślnością lub na swoich zasadach... 'Wyrzekać się wszystkiego'. To punkt kulminacyjny i streszczenie całej mowy Jezusa. Jedynym bogactwem ucznia jest nieposiadanie niczego. Upodabnia się Przemawiając do wielkich tłumów, Jezus wyjaśnia, że od tych, którzy idą za Nim, wymaga radykalności. 'Jeśli ktoś przychodzi do Mnie, a kocha bardziej swego ojca i matkę, żonę i dzieci, braci i siostry, nadto i siebie samego, nie może być moim uczniem'. Stajemy przed takim właśnie wyborem... Jako uczniowie Jezusa jesteśmy zaproszeni do tego, aby On zajmował w naszym życiu należne Mu miejsce – miejsce najważniejsze... Zbawienie, dla jednych słowo-klucz, dla innych brednia. Rzeczywistość dokonująca się tu i teraz lub wielka niewiadoma po śmierci. A jednak nie da się zrozumieć Jezusa Chrystusa, nie da się zrozumieć Nowego Testamentu, nie da się zrozumieć kultu chrześcijańskiego inaczej, niż w sensie zbawienia... Zabiegajmy, tak, jak potrafimy zabiegać o awans, czyjeś względy, dobra tego świata. Zabiegajmy, a Ten, który wydarza się w codzienności naszego życia, dokona reszty... Zastanawiamy się, o co chodzi z wyrzekaniem się wszystkiego. Jezus nie mówi tylko o rzeczach materialnych. Ma również na uwadze nasze myśli, przekonania, nawyki, wewnętrzne przywiązania do przeszłości... Często wydaje nam się, że doświadczenia z przeszłości mogą determinować naszą przyszłość. I to jest prawda. Ale możemy też uwolnić się od zbędnych ciężarów przeszłości. Człowiek wewnętrznie wolny daje przestrzeń do działania Bogu... Silne przywiązanie do złych nawyków może zniszczyć nie tylko nas, nasze relacje, naszą drogę do Boga, ale może też zniszczyć drogę innych. Życie religijne przyszłych pokoleń opiera się również na świadectwie naszego życia... ...Jezu, proszę o żarliwe serce i silną wolę w radykalnym oddaniu się Tobie... Proszę o łaskę odwagi upodabniania się do Ciebie, ubogiego, uniżonego -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WEDNESDAY, Weekday GOSPEL - Lk 14, 25-33 (He who does not renounce everything cannot be a disciple of Jesus) Great crowds were following Jesus. He turned and said to them, "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life as well, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. MEDITATION Jesus emphasizes that freedom is required for following him to be fruitful and lead to the kingdom of heaven. Freedom from self and what one wants, from people and what they give us, and from things and desires. Without this radical freedom from the created world, following Jesus is meaningless... An essential condition for following Jesus fruitfully is also courageously facing pain, suffering, and even death. Jesus says that following him requires an unequivocal commitment to God, even 'carrying the cross.' He walked the Way of the Cross and died for this reason, so that we could lean on Him, carrying our crosses... Jesus compares the decision to become His disciple with the decision to build a tower. It is a symbol of power and knowledge and victory in the fight for sovereignty and freedom... "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?" (Lk 14:28). Jesus speaks today about planning. It is one of the key elements of every initiative. Referring to planning the construction, Jesus teaches spiritual planning... Jesus previously spoke to those who accompanied him, the disciples and the crowd, about the fact that the poor and the excluded are invited to the heavenly banquet. Now he tells his listeners that although the Kingdom of God is free, the conditions for accepting it are very difficult... The difficult conditions for accepting the Kingdom of God are: 'hatred' of what is dear to us, such as those close to us; love for what the world hates; prudence, so as not to stop halfway; the prudent 'madness' of the one who renounces everything for Jesus. Everyone is capable of this, but the one who expects to achieve the Kingdom by his own ingenuity or on his own principles is mistaken... 'To renounce everything'. This is the culmination and summary of Jesus' entire discourse. The only wealth of the disciple is not having anything. In this way he becomes like his Lord. This is a concrete expression of love. Whoever does not renounce everything will squander everything... Speaking to large crowds, Jesus explains that he requires radicalism from those who follow him. 'If anyone comes to me and loves his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own self, he cannot be my disciple'. We face such a choice... As disciples of Jesus, we are invited to allow Him to occupy His rightful place in our lives - the most important place... Salvation, for some a key word, for others nonsense. The reality that takes place here and now or the great unknown after death. And yet it is impossible to understand Jesus Christ, it is impossible to understand the New Testament, it is impossible to understand Christian worship otherwise than in the sense Let us strive, as we are able to strive for promotion, someone's favor, the goods of this world. Let us strive, and the One who happens in the everyday life We wonder what it is about renouncing everything. Jesus does not speak only about material things. He also has in mind our thoughts, beliefs, habits, internal attachments to the past... We often think that experiences from the past can determine our future. And this is true. But we can also free ourselves from unnecessary burdens A strong attachment to bad habits can destroy not only us, our relationships, our path to God, but it can also destroy the path of others. The religious ...Jesus, I ask for a fervent heart and a strong will in radical dedication to You... I ask for the grace of courage to become like You, poor, humble and despised...
