EWANGELIA - Mk 1, 21-28 (Jezus naucza jak ten, który ma władzę)

W Kafarnaum Jezus w szabat wszedł do synagogi i nauczał. Zdumiewali się Jego nauką: uczył ich bowiem jak ten, który ma władzę, a nie jak uczeni
w Piśmie.
Był właśnie w ich synagodze człowiek opętany przez ducha nieczystego. Zaczął on wołać: «Czego chcesz od nas, Jezusie Nazarejczyku? Przyszedłeś nas zgubić. Wiem, kto jesteś: Święty Boga».
Lecz Jezus rozkazał mu surowo: «Milcz i wyjdź z niego! » Wtedy duch nieczysty zaczął nim miotać i z głośnym krzykiem wyszedł z niego.
A wszyscy się zdumieli, tak że jeden drugiego pytał: «Co to jest? Nowa jakaś nauka z mocą. Nawet duchom nieczystym rozkazuje i są Mu posłuszne».
I wnet rozeszła się wieść o Nim wszędzie po całej okolicznej krainie galilejskiej.

MEDYTACJA

Nie wiadomo, o czym mówił Jezus tego dnia w Kafarnaum. Znamy tylko nieobojętne reakcje Jego słuchaczy. To mógł być podziw, zdumienie, ciekawość, poczucie nowości i świeżości…

Opętany rozpoznaje Jezusa. Wie, kim On jest. Mówi o Nim: 'Święty Boga'. Uznaje Go jednak za zagrożenie...

Choć zwykle wiemy, jaki jest Bóg, jesteśmy obciążeni fałszywymi przekonaniami o Nim. Jezus przyszedł, by je zgubić i zrujnować. Codziennie chce nas uwalniać od nieprawdziwych wyobrażeń o Bogu. Chce nas uczyć, jak żyć bez lęku i w coraz większej wolności. Chce prowadzić nas do Boga, który zachwyca...

Można wyczuć, że za tym, co ktoś mówi nie stoi nic konkretnego i że są to jedynie słowa, które nie znajdują odzwierciedlenia w codziennym życiu, że brakuje tego ‘czegoś’. Duchowość mówi o interioryzacji wartości chrześcijańskich w naszym życiu tak, aby stały się częścią naszej codziennej rzeczywistości...

Synagoga to miejsce modlitwy, czytania i komentowania Pisma Świętego w szabat. Każdy mógł wstać, odczytać i skomentować święty tekst. Jezus budził zdumienie swoją nauką, bo przemawiał z mocą i autorytetem, inaczej niż ówcześni uczeni w Piśmie...

Człowiek opętany przez ducha to nie osąd moralny. W tamtym czasie wszystkie choroby, zwłaszcza psychiczne, przypisywano duchom nieczystym, bo choroba była postrzegana jako coś niechcianego przez Boga. Chodzi zatem o sprzeciw wobec Boga, a nie nieczystość w sensie moralnym. Jezus dokonuje 'egzorcyzmu', wyrzucając ducha sprzeciwu Bogu i nawracając ku Niemu pogubionych...

Jezus prowadzi walkę ze złem w człowieku. Tym złem są różnego rodzaju alienacje i zależności (ucisk, obsesje, złudzenia, wyzysk lub przywileje, autoafirmacja
i egoizm), które sprawiają, że nie jest on tym, kim powinien być. Jezus nas wyzwala, bo pokonuje zło człowieka słowem i czynem...

Jezus naucza z autorytetem w synagodze w Kafarnaum. Robi wrażenie na słuchaczach, ponieważ jego nauczanie różni się od tego, do czego przywykli. Nie jest jedynie powtarzaniem tradycji, 'gadaniną' bez potwierdzenia sposobem życia, ale jest objawieniem pełni prawdy...

Spotkanie z człowiekiem opętanym przez ducha nieczystego ukazuje Jezusa jako Tego, który ma władzę nad siłami zła. Może nam się wydaje, że mamy takie grzechy, słabości, kompleksy i chore relacje, których nie da się uzdrowić czy naprawić. Samemu nie. Ale jest przecież On...

Wszyscy się zdumieli tym, co zobaczyli. Działanie Jezusa dokonywało się w obecności ludzi, cuda działy, gdy ludzie tam byli. Oni tam byli, przyszli, słuchali, patrzyli. Tego nam czasem brakuje, by być w Bożej obecności, w Bożych sprawach, uważniej, śmiało...

Zdumieć się sobą oznacza czasem: mniej uwagi sobie poświęcać. Nie zabiegać tak bardzo o swoje, nie zabezpieczać własnych interesów, zobaczyć coś więcej niż siebie. Kogoś więcej...

Zdumienie wymaga daru uwagi i daru czasu. Tego, czego najbardziej pragną ukochani: nas, naszej obecności...

Jezus rozpoczyna swoją publiczną działalność, a Jego słowa robią wrażenie na słuchaczach. Mówi 'jak ten, który ma władzę', nie tylko naucza, ale i ukazuje moc przez swoje czyny, wyrzucając ducha nieczystego. Ludzie czują autentyczność i siłę, jakiej dotąd nie doświadczyli...

Współczesny nam świat jest pełen sprzecznych głosów, powodujących wiele zamętu. Czujemy pragnienie odnalezienia autorytetu, który nie tylko głosi prawdę, ale też nią żyje. Jezus przypomina nam, że prawdziwa władza rodzi się z pokory, służby i zgodności słów z czynami...

...Jezu, proszę o głęboką wiarę w moc Twojego słowa i o otwarcie się na nie... Proszę o łaskę wsłuchania się w Twoje Słowo, które wyzwala... Dziękuję za Twoje działanie w moim wnętrzu...

GOSPEL - Mk 1, 21-28 (Jesus teaches as one who has authority)

In Capernaum on the Sabbath Jesus entered the synagogue and taught. They were amazed at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
And there was in their synagogue a man possessed by an unclean spirit. He began to cry out, "What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? You have come to destroy us. I know who you are, the Holy One of God." But Jesus sternly commanded him, "Be quiet and come out of him!" Then the unclean spirit began to toss him about, and with a loud cry it came out of him.
And they were all amazed, so that one asked another, "What is this? Some new teaching with authority. He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him." And soon the news about Him spread everywhere throughout the surrounding region of Galilee.

MEDITATION

It is not known what Jesus was talking about that day in Capernaum. We only know the not indifferent reactions of His listeners. It could have been admiration, amazement, curiosity, a sense of novelty and freshness...

The possessed man recognizes Jesus. He knows who He is. He calls Him: 'the Holy One of God'. However, he considers Him a threat...

Although we usually know what God is like, we are burdened with false beliefs about Him. Jesus came to destroy and destroy them. Every day he wants to free us from false ideas about God. He wants to teach us how to live without fear and in ever greater freedom. He wants to lead us to the God who delights...

You can sense that there is nothing specific behind what someone is saying and that these are just words that are not reflected in everyday life, that that 'something' is missing. Spirituality speaks of the interiorization of Christian values ??in our lives so that they become part of our everyday reality...

A synagogue is a place of prayer, reading and commenting on the Holy Scriptures on the Sabbath. Everyone could stand up, read and comment on the sacred text. Jesus aroused astonishment with his teaching, because he spoke with power and authority, unlike the scribes of his time...

A person possessed by a spirit is not a moral judgment. At that time, all illnesses, especially mental illnesses, were attributed to unclean spirits, because illness was perceived as something unwanted by God. Therefore, it is about opposition to God, not impurity in the moral sense. Jesus performs an 'exorcism', casting out the spirit of opposition to God and converting the lost to Him...

Jesus wages war against evil in man. This evil is various kinds of alienation and dependencies (oppression, obsessions, illusions, exploitation or privileges, self-affirmation and egoism) that make him not who he should be. Jesus liberates us because he defeats the evil of man with word and deed...

Jesus teaches with authority in the synagogue in Capernaum. He makes an impression on his listeners because his teaching is different from what they are used to. It is not just a repetition of tradition, 'talk' without confirmation by a way of life, but is a revelation of the fullness of truth...

The meeting with the man possessed by the unclean spirit shows Jesus as the One who has power over the forces of evil. It may seem to us that we have such sins, weaknesses, complexes and sick relationships that cannot be healed or repaired. Not by ourselves. But He is...

Everyone was amazed at what they saw. Jesus' actions were performed in the presence of people, miracles occurred when people were there. They were there, they came, they listened, they looked. This is what we sometimes lack, to be in God's presence, in God's matters, more attentively, boldly...

To be amazed at ourselves sometimes means: to pay less attention to ourselves. Not to care so much about our own, not to secure our own interests, to see something more than ourselves. Someone more...

Amazement requires the gift of attention and the gift of time. What our loved ones desire most: us, our presence...

Jesus begins his public ministry, and his words make an impression on his listeners. He speaks 'as one who has authority', he not only teaches, but also shows power through his actions, casting out the unclean spirit. People feel authenticity and strength that they have never experienced before...

The world of our time is full of contradictory voices, causing much confusion. We feel the desire to find an authority that not only proclaims the truth, but also lives it. Jesus reminds us that true power comes from humility, service, and the correspondence of words to actions...

...Jesus, I ask for deep faith in the power of Your Word and for openness to it... I ask for the grace to listen to Your Word, which liberates... Thank you for Your action within me...
